Munchies: Attack of the Snack

Here are a few innovative and different snack ideas that can help you beat the munchies and can cure any late night craving your pregnant/high/ or just plain fat ass might have. No matter how weird these might seem I dare you to try any one of these and call me a liar.
Top 5
1. Nutella + Skippy Peanut Butter + Ritz Crackers
Anyone who has ever met me knows that one of my favorite things to put on any type of carb(even tried on pizza, not recommended) is nutella. You can't really go wrong when it comes to nutella.

2. Saltine Crackers + Cream Cheese
I found out about this unlikely combo from my friend Scott Potter. I immidiatly turned the idea down as stupid and gross, but nope. Delicious.

3. Hummus + Wheat Thins
Don't knock on hummus if you never tried it. But i would recomend not eating this and going out in public. #dragonbreathe

4. Dominos Cheese Pizza + Side of Ranch
I'll admit this isn't the most original, but I couldn't make a list of late night treasures and not include this jem.

5. Buffalo Chicken Calizone and Blu Cheese on the side
This is going to be hard to wrestle up late night so order it earlier in the night and put it in your fridge.

Artist of the Day: B.o.B

Hey guys sorry for the break between posts (if anyone actually cares), but I'm back. Today's artist of the day is B.o.B. A lot of you might know B.o.B from all the pop radio stations with his two big hits Nothing On You and Airplanes with that transvestite Haley whatever her name is from Paramore. If you base your opinion of B.o.B's rawness and talent as a rapper off those songs, I say fuck that and check these songs out. This is the real B.o.B that everyone should hear. Enjoy.

Best Sports Commercial Ever?

If this commercial doesn't get you fired up to play any type of sport at all then you are either from Canada or are just a pure bread pussy.
Roll Tide.

Breeze Steez of the Week

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you..... Samantha "The Shark" Harkey.
Sam Harkey is a student of the University of New Hampshire class of 2013. She graduated from Millis High School in 2009 and was a stud track runner...kinda. For those of you who have never heard of this place known as Millis don't worry your not missing out on much. The town has a greater cow population than it does people. (Jokes, Millis is legit.) Although not a member of UNH's Greek Life, this GDI might as well be a brother at TKE. If she isnt in class, at the library, dining hall, or gym 9 times out of 10 you will find Sam just kicking it at TKE with any brother or her boyfriend Justin Trembley (UNH 2011). You know the saying "Just because there is a goalie in the net doesn't mean you can't score"? Well for all you who read this and think "dayyummm I wanna hook up with this girl," please abandon that idea for the sake of your own health. I speak from experience when I say that as a very talented MMA fighter, JT will beat your fucking ass.

Sam is also a member of two of the most exclusive social groups known to this plant. The first group she is a member of is known as Pentagon. Consisting of 5 girls from Millis (all best friends) Pentagon is a very secretive club that goes on missions and has many secrets that I don't even know about as an "honorary member".
Pentagon consists of Sam Harkey, Sam Hilton, Anna Luker, Shannon Heffernan, and Lauren Geary.

Sam is also a member of the UNH campus sensation known as The Wolf Pack. United by their love for the song Wolfpack Party by The Pack...
and thier residence in Stoke Hall, The Wolf Pack is notorious for replaying this song over and over again at parties and causing complete mayhem on Halloween. There is no statistic on how many people were affected by this wild pack of wolfs that Halloween night, but I can only guess that the number was in the thousands.
Guess these asses? Bet you can't. The Wolf Pack consists of Sam, Lydia Abend, Katie Turner, Amber Lombard, and Jaime Napurano.
To top it all off Sam is even a recording artist. Her group, Foxtrot With the Devil, (still waiting on that music so I can post it up) consists of her and her fellow wolf Lydia. Foxtrot has turned down record deals from Def Jam and Sony siting that they don't want to conform to the social norm and want to keep making music for their core group of fans (More Jokes).
(stains of my sorrow coming soon to the Breeze)
But on a serious note Sam is definetly one of my best girl friends (notice the space between girl and friends), and I enjoy hanging out with her alot back at home.

Throw Back Thursday: 3

Top 5 Disney Channel Movies of all Time
1.Brink
Team Pup and Suds over Team X Blades all day.

2. Johnny Tsunami
This movie was so bad ass. It made me want to snowboard and wear that ridiculous hat with a bunch of cloth cords coming out of the top that you had to earn by nailing a big air so bad. Sadly I ski.

3. My Date With The Presidents Daughter

Too bad no president in my time has had a smoke show daughter who I could stalk down and ask to a school dance.

4. Airborne
Another classic movie that made me wish I could throw down on inline skates and play hockey. Too bad as a kid I was a fat pussy.
5. Smart House
Come on, who wouldn't want to live in a ballin house like this were your house makes your food, cleans up after you, wakes you up, and talks to you.

 Music:
Going with the disney theme from above this song was featured in Johnny Tsunami.
Too bad Blink 182 got all gay and broke up, then got back together and put out shit music. They will still remain one of my favorite bands of all time.
With a young Lil Wayne holding this track down with his Daddy Birdman, this song still embodies the idea of what it means to ball and throw paper around.
TV Shows:
As a kid watching this show, could you have even imagined that it would have sky rocketed Shia Labeouf to the actor he is today?
Room Raiders was a perfect way to waste away a lazy Saturday morning and afternoon as a high school kid. The highlight of the episode would always come when the girl searching the room would find the guys nudie mags stashed under his mattress or in his closet (bad style), which probably gave a boost to more internet porn and history erases as opposed to Playboys and Hustlers in the hopes that one day a van with Room Raiders printed on the side would roll up and kidnap you and you wouldn't look like a perve on National Television.

Throwback Thursday: Xaverian Lacrosse Locker Room Edition

This post is dedicated to my boys from Xaverian that helped make my four years as a lacrosse player there some of the best times I've ever had. Not to say that everyone can't enjoy this music, but it will be more greatly appreciated by my Xaverian boys.
First introduced to me by Ryan Abely (Babson 2012) as a random song his buddy showed him one high day, backstrockin' turned into a phenomenon in the Xaverian locker room my senior year as the hallmark celebration for every big goal or win. To "backstroke" all you need to do curl one arm up and rotate your shoulder to the beat of the song. 'm officially bringing it back as my celly for every goal I score this year.
This song remained a staple in every locker room cd made my four years. You couldn't spend more than 10 mins in the locker room without hearing it played.

Techno/ House music was pioneered by the class of 06 as a pre and post game music choice. These songs were among the most popular.
These next two songs are by far the most ridiculous and outragous songs I have ever heard, but without them the locker room experience just wouldn't have been the same...
Still haven't figured out if Gunther is joking or actually takes himself this seriously as a European sex god who likes to get his ding ding dong touched.
Yup.
I remember this song in particular would fire my buddy Ryan Abely up. To this day he is still looking for that real girl to get down on the floor with.

These three songs were introduced to the X locker room by Tim Quigley (William and Mary 2012). He brought them in before they hit the radio and before Wiz Khalifa became the big sensation that he is today. For these songs Tim we thank you.

These last few songs were played right before we would take the field for any home game. Some still give me goosebumps just thinking of the amount of adrenaline that used to rush through my veins before taking the field.
My senior year this was the last song we would listen to before taking the field. Still gives me goosebumps.
Shout outs to Kevin Blackmur (Lynchburg 2013) and Andrew Paradise (Clemson 2013) for a few of these songs. Although I don't remember specifically which songs they personally introduced, they had great influence over the locker room CD's in 2009.
Dishonerable menion to Steve West (Christopher Newport 2014)...yes thats a real school, i think?... for being a bitch. Enjoy.

Mash Up Monday

Delayed Flight Playlist

Im currently sitting in the Phoenix Arizona airport staring down a nice 2 hour delay on my flight back to Manchester. If you do the math out that means that I will be getting back at 2 in the morning (how thrilling). I can kiss my making babies 8 am and anthropology 9:40 am class goodbye. Here's the playlist that is helping me endure this traveling travesty.
 Stereotypical? Yes.
and by far the best song on the playlist...

Upgrade Your Steez: Swag of the Week

Music:
Pretty chill mash up of Mos Def.
Asher Roth kinda fell off after I Love College. This a pretty laid back song with clever lyrics. Shout out to my buddy Rob Dion at Penn State for showing me this.
Here's a song ASU Men's Lacrosse team played at half time. I was too into the game to really appreciate it but its a good listen.

Woah. I knew Lupe was talented, but his new album is unbelievable. I think Lupe did it right by waiting to drop this album as opposed to leaking a bunch of garbage and a few good tracks onto the internet like so many rappers are doing today.
Really relaxing track from Wiz. Just bought it on iTunes and I highly suggest you do the same.
Swag:
As the warm weather starts to roll in there is no classier pair of sunglasses on the market. They may not be as flashy and stylish as some of the shades that oakley and von zipper are rolling out, but they Ray Band keeps it simple.

Will Smith said it best, "Yeah I got on sneaks, but I need a new pair, cause basketball courts in the summer got girls there." Upgrade your steez with a fresh pair of nike air max shoes. Keep the white kicks clean and your steez will be off the charts.
It's always crucial to smell nice when you are hanging out with members off the opposite sex. Polo Double Black cologne will help upgrade your steez and make a good first impression.
The classic plain polo t-shirt goes along with the common steez theme of this post. Keep it simple.

"Cause we are young movie stars." - Wiz Khalifa

Artist of the Day: Mumford & Sons

As someone who can be very close minded when it comes to music, I immediately wrote off Mumford & Sons as a band best left for the slightly queer hipsters. I was wrong. Enjoy.

No Hits, Just Deep Tracks

These songs are a bit of a change of pace from the usual music I post, but they are worth listening to. Enjoy.

Throw Back Thursday: 2

Movies:
Ahhh very fat I see.
Now your backs going to hurt because you just pulled landscaping duty.

Music:
Throwback Rap
Real girls get down on the floor
and we be puttin it on
so icy
DIPSET
beastie boys known to let the beat.... DROP

Throwback Pop/Rock
I'd appreciate your input
thats about the time that bitch broke up with me
I don't care if Mondays black
Keep rollin rollin rollin rollin

Throwback Classic Rock
You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave
and she's buying a stairway to heaven
Limp Bizkit did a cover of this song, and although they are featured above don't check it out. It sucked.

TV Shows
Who can honestly say that they didn't grow up with the Huxtable family and Bill Cosby's awsome sweaters?
Topenga was my first crush and remains so to this day and I am not afraid to admit it. This show remains one of my all time favorties and taught me many valuble life lessons with a great comedy undertone. As an obese kid in middle school at St. Catherines this show made me wish that my first kiss came when I was having my worst hairday (hair was the least of my worries) and was handcuffed to a locker. I still watch this show.
Most people can trace their first nightmare back to this show. Thanks alot R. L. Stine.

Toys:
Some people say that when I grow my hair out I look like Ash Catchem. To those people (cough cough Jon Mohr and James Vickery cough) I say Fuck you. But honestly, you can't tell me that you didn't think your collection of hollographic Pokemon cards would be worth millions one day, I did. Jokes on us huh?
These are actually worth something these days to a small group of freaks who live alone and are potential candiates for that show about hoarding, but dont rip off the Ty tag or else you have a worthless stuffed animal that can't do anything cool.

Guilty Pleasure Playlist

As a guy admitting to liking some of these songs may bring my sexuality into question, but if you are a heterosexual male and can claim that you truely dislike any of these songs and don't sing out loud every time they come on the radio in the car when you're by yourself than you my friend are a fucking liar. Enjoy.
"If you don't chew Big Red Gum then Fuck You!" - Ricky Bobby

Breeze Steez of the Week

Ladies And Gentlemen I give you.... Luke Buckley.
Is it a coincidence that Luke and I happen to share the same last name? If you couldn't tell by his steez and face, Luke Buckley is my little brother. Born September 21, 1992 Luke came out of the womb with steez. With a big brother and sister to look up to Luke has become one the best athletes I have ever seen and the kid is only in 8th grade. Yeah hes my brother but after watching him play any sport even Helen Keller would atest to the fact that the kid can ball. Luke is also quite the ladies man, just ask Sam Harkey and Jaime Napurano.
     ... Yeeeee Son.
Luke is also a die hard Wiz Khalifa fan, so prepare yourself UNH cause for his first concert ever Luke and I will be in attendance when Wiz comes to UNH front row screaming out all the lyrics.
Oh yeah and did I mention, the kid can absolute ball at lacrosse. In passing conversation a few years back a friend of mine told Luke that if he got a full scholorship to a D1 school that he would buy him a brand new Lamborghini. My prediction - That kid is going to regret he ever said that. Steez on Luke.

Breeze Steez of the Week

The Breeze Steez this week is going to dedicated to some fresh gear and a new song that I just discovered today by OCD: Moosh & Twist. Both are pure personification of what I would consider steez. For all those who aren't familiar with steez, it is style with ease and can be phonetically used in many different ways.

This song by OCD: Moosh & Twist has a pretty relaxed flow to it. Straight steez

This weeks swag of the week is going to Burberry's Mens Ties. These ties although very expensive are great steez for any formal occasion. If you show up to your spring cocktail wearing one of these ties I'm giving you 10 to 1 odds of getting laid... Just saying
Steez on my friends.

Wednesday Breeze

Sorry everyone, not that it really matters, but I've been so busy with school that I haven't been able to dedicate time to come up with witty names for each days new music or anything like that (not that I think alot of people follow this or even care). Here's some music for today, its kinda all over the place in terms of genre but its all good. Hope you enjoy.

More Good Music Monday

New Music for Monday

Not all of this music is "new" for some people but the majority of people might not have gotten a chance to check these songs out. Enjoy.
